Aker Exploration buys 30 pct more in N.Sea license

OSLO, April 17 (Reuters) - Norwegian oil group Aker Exploration AKX.OL said on Wednesday it has bought an additional 30 percent interest in North Sea license PL 460 from StatoilHydro (STL.OL: 行情).

Aker Exploration now owns 60 percent in the licence, which covers parts of blocks 25/1, 25/2 and 24/3 in the Northern part of the North Sea. The license operator is Det norske oljeselskap (DETNOR.OL: 行情) with 40 percent interest.

The price of the transaction was not disclosed. (Reporting by Wojciech Moskwa)
