Mexican stocks rise more than 2 pct after weak U.S jobs data

MEXICO CITY, Jan 10 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks rose more than 2 percent on Friday, after weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs data bolstered hopes that the U.S Federal Reserve will slow its rollback of a bond-buying scheme that has driven interest in emerging market equities.

The IPC index was up 2.13 percent at 42,470 points in afternoon trading.
