Safran confirms talks to buy Zodiac Aerospace continue
PARIS, April 28 Safran said on Friday its talks to buy Zodiac Aerospace were continuing after the French company issued a new profit warning.
FRANKFURT, March 17 German industrial group Siemens issued a $7.5 billion bond, its second-largest placement to date, to fund acquisitions including Mentor Graphics and to finance outstanding and matured debt, it said in a statement on Friday.
"Due to the high demand, the company obtained very good interest-rate conditions over all maturities," Siemens said.
It said total investor demand was $15.1 billion, and about 83 percent was allocated to U.S. investors, with the rest placed with investors from Europe and Asia. (Reporting by Georgina Prodhan; Editing by Arno Schuetze)
PARIS, April 28 Zodiac Aerospace said its chief executive planned to quit and added to a litany of profit warnings as it reaffirmed hopes of merging with engine maker Safran to end a prolonged crisis in its aircraft seats plants.
FRANKFURT, April 28 Deutsche Bank is expected to name James von Moltke as new finance chief, replacing Marcus Schenck who is taking on a role as co-head of the investment bank, a source close to the matter said.
