Genmab shares plunge after Roche pullout
COPENHAGEN Dec 7 (Reuters) - Shares in Danish biotech firm Genmab (GEN.CO: 行情) opened down nearly 10 percent on Monday following news after the bourse closed on Friday that partner Roche (ROG.VX: 行情) would abandon cooperation on a cancer drug.
The stock pared its deepest losses to trade down 6.8 percent at 75 crowns at 0806 GMT.
Genmab said in a statement late on Friday that Roche would discontinue cooperation on experimental cancer drug RG1507, which was in mid-stage studies. [ID:nBNG417827]
Genmab said Roche's decision was not due to safety concerns.
