A North Korean diplomat named a murder suspect in the apparent assassination of Kim Jong Nam. Malaysian police on Wednesday (February 22) saying the embassy official has been called in for questioning. Kim Jong Nam was the half-brother of North Korea's leader. He died after being assaulted at the Kuala Lumpur International airport last week. Police say there are eight North Korean suspects in all. Although they believe four have already flown back to Pyongyang. "We would request the North Korean authorities to assist us in tracing them and hand them over to us for us to complete the investigation," Malaysian Inspector General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar said. Police have made four arrests so far, including two women from Vietnam and Indonesia who can be seen in this footage released by Fuji TV. Officials say they were trained to wipe poison on Kim's face and had actually rehearsed the attack at local shopping malls. "The four suspect will give them the liquid, will put the liquid on their hands, they are supposed to wipe it over the deceased face so the Indonesian did it first and followed by the Vietnamese lady, wipe the face of the deceased and after that they went away, they were instructed to clean their hands and they know it is toxic," he added. Malaysia and North Korea are diplomatic allies on paper, but have been bickering over custody of Kim's body and Malaysia's handling of the investigation. Police say they've had to step up security at the morgue holding his body after an attempted break-in earlier this week. So far no family members have come forward to claim the body or provide DNA samples. Authorities still haven't identified the cause of death.
