The mystery of Tom Brady's stolen jersey has been solved. Houston police say they recovered the jersey the New England Patriots quarterback wore in last month's Super Bowl victory in Texas. A second jersey that Brady wore in his 2015 Super Bowl victory was also recovered. The NFL says both jerseys were found in Mexico in the possession of a credentialed member of the international media. SOUNDBITE: HOUSTON POLICE CHIEF ART ACEVEDO, SAYING: "One of the things they can face is transporting stolen goods across state lines and out of the country." The police chief declined to provide details on where in Mexico the jersey was found or who the suspect was. But he says the case was investigated aggressively because it had been the only blemish on an otherwise problem-free Super Bowl. SOUNDBITE: HOUSTON POLICE CHIEF ART ACEVEDO, SAYING: "The suspect decided to steal it in Houston. It's like the Texas bravado, you came to the wrong state, you know what I'm sayin'. You don't come to Texas and steal when the eyes of the world are on our state." Brady told reporters the morning after the Super Bowl win that he had packed up his jersey after the game, but it had disappeared. The FBI assisted in helping recover the jersey.
