The revolving door just doesn't stop at Uber. The ride-hailing company is losing its finance head. Gautam Gupta is leaving for a startup, becoming the latest high-profile exec to leave. About a dozen top executives have left the company since February. Just Tuesday, Uber fired the head of its self-driving unit, Anthony Levandowski. He had failed to comply with a court order to hand over documents in a legal dispute with Alphabet's Waymo unit. Separately, Uber said its quarterly loss shrank 29 percent to $708 million. And its revenue rose sharply. An Uber spokesperson said, "The narrowing of our losses in the first quarter puts us on a good trajectory towards profitability." As a private company, Uber isn't required to report earnings. But at times, it confirms figures reported in the media.
