OSLO, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Norwegian independent oil and gas firm Aker BP will raise its output by 70% by 2028 to more than 350,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), it said on Thursday while reporting fourth-quarter operating profits in line with forecasts.
The company’s October-December earnings before interests and tax (EBIT) fell to $278 million from $491 million in the same period of 2019, while analysts in a Refinitiv poll on average had predicted a profit of $275.4 million. (Reporting by Nerijus Adomaitis, editing by Terje Solsvik)
