CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens slightly lower on subdued commodity-linked stocks

March 29 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened marginally lower on Monday, as energy and mining shares tracked subdued commodities, although optimism about an economic recovery capped losses.

* At 9:43 a.m. ET (13:43 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was down 6.81 points, or 0.04%, at 18,745.77.
