Deutsche Bank CFO says there should be banking M&A, we must prepare

BERLIN, Sept 23 (Reuters) - Deutsche Bank sees the logic that there should be consolidation in the European banking industry and the task in hand is to prepare for that eventuality, Chief Financial Officer James von Moltke said on Thursday.

Speaking at an online conference hosted by BofA Securities, von Moltke also said that asset management arm DWS, under U.S. investigation over how it used sustainable investing criteria, “stands by its disclosures”. (Reporting by Douglas Busvine, editing by Thomas Escritt)
