Fast-food chicken demand nears pre-pandemic levels -Pilgrim's Pride

CHICAGO, April 30 (Reuters) - Chicken demand from U.S. quick service restaurants has bounced back to near where it was before the coronavirus outbreak caused consumers to isolate themselves at home, poultry company Pilgrim's Pride Corp said on Thursday.

The mass closure of restaurant dining rooms due to the pandemic has increased demand for meat and poultry at retail grocers.
