JD Wetherspoon warns of lacklustre trading, announces wage rise

Nov 7 (Reuters) - British pub operator J D Wetherspoon Plc said on Wednesday that it expects trading to be slightly below the previous financial year as it deals with higher costs.

Wetherspoon, which operates more than 900 pubs in Britain and Ireland, posted a 5.5 percent rise in comparable sales for the first quarter and also announced a pay rise for its employees from this week.
