Chemicals group Lanxess forecasts core profit growth in 2021

March 11 (Reuters) - German specialty chemicals maker Lanxess on Thursday said it expected its 2021 core profit to rise from the previous year’s levels, as it expects many of its customer industries to recover this year.

The Cologne-based group forecast full-year core profit (EBITDA), adjusted for one-offs, in the range of 900 million euros ($1.07 billion) to 1 billion euros, compared with 862 million it reported for 2020.
