Mexican central bank chief flags risks facing economy

MEXICO CITY, April 10 (Reuters) - Mexico's Central Bank Governor Alejandro Diaz de Leon said on Wednesday that significant medium-term and long-term risks facing the economy could weigh on growth and affect prices.

In a presentation to Congress, Diaz de Leon said it was necessary to pursue prudent monetary and macro-economic policies to promote investor confidence and higher productivity. (Reporting by Adriana Barrera)
