Sept 1 (Reuters) - British fashion retailer New Look’s chief executive Anders Kristiansen has left the company, a source familiar with the matter said on Friday.
New Look’s UK And Ireland Managing Director Danny Barrasso has been appointed as interim chief executive while South African owner Brait’s board seeks a replacement for Kristiansen, the source said.
A New Look spokesman declined to comment, while Brait did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Sky News had reported on Thursday that Kristiansen was set to leave New Look and that a announcement would be made on Friday. bit.ly/2iN0r3q (Reporting by Esha Vaish in Bengaluru; Editing by Greg Mahlich)
