Feb 20 (Reuters) - U.S. oil and gas producer Noble Energy Inc on Tuesday reported a quarterly profit, compared with a year-earlier loss, helped by higher oil prices.
Net income attributable to Noble was $494 million, or $1.01 per share, in the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31. The company posted a loss of $252 million, or 59 cents per share, a year earlier. The Houston-based company's total revenue rose 19 percent to $1.2 billion. (Reporting by Ahmed Farhatha in Bengaluru; Editing by Anil D'Silva)
