ZURICH, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Pictet, Switzerland’s fourth-biggest private bank, on Wednesday posted first-half consolidated net profit of 247 million Swiss francs ($258.5 million), up 29 percent year on year.
“All business categories have seen an encouraging growth in revenues and profits during the first half of 2017, compared to the first half of last year,” Senior Managing Partner Nicolas Pictet said in a statement.
Assets under management or custody totalled 479 billion francs at the end of June, up from 462 billion at end-2016. Geneva rivals Lombard Odier and Mirabaud earlier also reported healthy increases in first-half net profit.
