ATHENS, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Eleven investors have expressed interest in an auction for a minority stake in Greece’s sole power network operator HEDNO, the country’s biggest state-owned power utility Public Power Corp. (PPC) said on Friday.

Strategic investors, grid operators and investment funds submitted expressions of interest for a 49% stake in HEDNO by Friday’s deadline, PPC, who fully owns HEDNO and is managing the sale, said in a statement.

It did not disclose the names of the investors. (Reporting by Angeliki Koutantou; Editing by Alison Williams)
