Phillips 66 says preparing to resume ops at Sweeny refinery in Texas

NEW YORK, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Phillips 66 is preparing to resume operations at its Sweeny refinery as well as its Beaumont terminal in Texas, the company said on Saturday.

The refiner is assessing the condition of its affected facilities after Tropical Storm Harvey to make repairs and other preparations, it said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the company said its Pasadena refined products terminal will resume truck loading for gasoline on Saturday afternoon, while its diesel loading will resume on Sunday.

Phillips 66 also said its Gulf Coast fractionation plant in Mont Belvieu, Texas, suspended operations due to a lack of storage.

Phillips 66's Houston headquarters offices will reopen on Sept. 5. (Reporting by Catherine Ngai; Editing by Steve Orlofsky)
