Abdulaziz Aljarbou

Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Aljarbou was appointed Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC since Oct, 8, 2017. Dr. Aljarbou was Member of the Board of Directors of a number of companies, including Saudi Paper Manufacturing Company, United Lubricating Oil Company, Gulf Oil Industrial Company, Riyad Bank, Philips Lighting Saudi Arabia, and Al-Bilad Catalyst. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Industrialization and Energy Services Company, 2003-2011, and Sharq, 2001-2007. He served as Member of the Advisory Board of the Supreme Economic Council from 1999 to 2010. He was also Member of the Board of Directors of Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden), 1997-2011; Malath Cooperative Insurance Company, 1997-2010; Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 1997-2000; and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, 1995-2002. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kemya, 1989-2001, and a member of the Board of Directors of Saudi Aramco, 1989-1995. Dr. Aljarbou was Managing Director and CEO of Amiantit Group, 1988-1996, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ibn Al-Baytar, 1985-1987. He began his career as Professor, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1976, soon after receiving his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado School of Mines, USA, in 1976. He also holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering (1973 and 1971, respectively) from the same university. He is Chairman of the Investment Committee.

Yousef Al Benyan

Mr. Yousef Abdullah Al Benyan serves as Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC since February, 2015. Mr. Al-Benyan joined SABIC in 1987. Mr. Al-Benyan relocated to Stamford, Connecticut as Operations Manager. In 1994, he became Commercial Manager for SABIC in the USA and Latin America, based in Houston, Texas. In 2002, he was promoted to General Manager of SABIC Asia, headquartered in Singapore. He made significant contributions to SABIC growth in Asia, especially in China. Mr. Al-Benyan returned to Houston in the fall of 2005 as the General Manager of SABIC Americas. In 2007, he took on the role of General Manager at Fiber Intermediates, before being named in February 2008 to head Corporate Human Resources. As Chairman of the ‘1 SABIC’ global unification initiative, he reorganized the company’s business structure with a new, single, global organization and operating model, moving from a responsive, transactional entity to a proactive, strategic global organization. In 2013, Mr. Al-Benyan was named to head SABIC’s Chemicals business, the company’s largest unit, to help SABIC achieve its goal of becoming the preferred global leader in chemicals by 2025. He is a member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum and Global Business Council of the Bloomberg Global Forum. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA), the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu, and the Saudi Ports Authority. Mr. Al-Benyan holds an Economics degree and a Master in Industrial Management, in addition to several specialized executive management courses.

Timothy Leveille

Mr. Timothy D. Leveille serves as Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC since 2018. He served as senior vice president, chief financial officer, and controller of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company (“CPChem”), based in The Woodlands, Texas. He served previously as assistant treasurer of the Chevron Corp., with oversight over global cash management and financing activities for Chevron’s operating companies worldwide. Mr. Leveille served in various overseas finance roles in Asia and Africa for roughly 17 years with Caltex, including as country chairman and chief financial officer of Caltex Philippines. In 2007, he became vice president of finance for Chevron’s global gas business, and in 2009 senior director of international finance in corporate treasury. In 1983 graduate of Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and computer sciences, he then worked for the public accounting firm of Price Waterhouse, before earning a Master of Business Administration in finance at Columbia University School of Business. In 1987 he joined Caltex, an international joint venture between Texaco and Chevron that was formed originally in 1936 to market oil from the newly discovered fields in Saudi Arabia. He is a US certified public accountant (CPA), licensed by the state of New York.

Uwaidh Al-Harethi

Mr. Uwaidh K. Al-Harethi serves as Executive Vice President, Innovation & Business Development at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC. Mr. Al-Harethi was the Executive Vice President of the Chemicals business unit and, before that, the Vice President of Global Procurement Services. He has led sophisticated overseas manufacturing and service organizations with profit and loss responsibility up to $4.6 billion and more than 2500 employees. Mr. Al-Harethi is skilled at establishing operational excellence within culturally diverse environments, translating conceptual models into specific growth strategies, and planning/executing multi-faceted global business development campaigns designed to improve market share, gross revenue and EBITDA. His qualifications key include but not limited to: global and cross culture experience of joint ventures and strategic business partnerships; corporate vision and strategic/operational planning; media crises management; projects management; global environment, health and safety, labor law; capital investment planning and financial modeling; acquisitions, divestitures; forecasting and budgeting; energy saving and sustainability studies. Mr. Al-Harethi is a Chemical Engineer and holds a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Abdulaziz Al-Oudan

Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Oudan serves as Executive Vice President - Corporate Human Resources at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC. Mr. Al-Oudan served as General Manager, Global Talent Management and earlier General Manager, HR Middle East and Africa. During his 20-year career with SABIC, Mr. Al-Oudan has held other senior positions including Director, Global Information Technology Center of Excellence, and Director, Global Information Technology Business Partnership. Samir Al Abd Rabo

Mr. Samir A. Al Abd Rabo serves as Executive Vice President Agri-Nutrients at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC. He was Vice President, Corporate Communications until 2014. He has more than 30 years of experience in the petrochemicals industry. He assumed his present position on February 1, 2018, and was before that the Vice President, Global Supply Chain, leading SABIC’s Supply Chain strategies in Liquids, Solids, Bulk, Sourcing & Excellence, and Global Value Chain Planning & Optimization. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of SABIC’s Oxygenates Business Unit, leading the global business of an array of products including Methanol, MTBE, as well as an integrated diversity of Performance Chemicals such as NDA, 2EH, DOP, IBAL, Normal Butanol, Iso-Butanol, ACN, NaCn, and MMA. Before that, he held the position of Vice President, Global Corporate Communications. As such, he led SABIC’s Global Media, Internal Communications, Branding, Events & External Relations, as well as Corporate Social Responsibility. reviously, Mr. Samir was Executive General Manager of SABIC affiliate (TAYF), where he was key to its successful business refocus, leading a complete operational, financial and legal restructuring and transformation process. Omar Al Amoudi

Mr. Omar Bin Abdullah Al Amoudi serves as Executive Vice President, Engineering & Project Management at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC. prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President, Shared Services at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation JSC since January 1, 2013. Abdul Rahman Al Fageeh

Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Fageeh serves as Executive Vice President, Petrochemicals at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC joined in 1985 as a project engineer and assumed his present position as Executive Vice President for the Petrochemicals business unit in 2016. He was previously EVP of the former Polymers and Performance Chemicals business units. He also holds the post of Chairman of four SABIC manufacturing affiliates – National Methanol Company (Ibn Sina), Saudi Japanese Acrylonitrile Company (Shrouq), Saudi Arabian Methacrylate Company (SAMAC), and SABIC SK Nexlene Company (SSNC). Mr. Al-Fageeh has held several key posts within SABIC before his current assignment, including vice president, global business LD/LL Polyethylene; General Manager, Operations & Planning, Basic Chemicals Strategic Business Unit; and General Manager Oxygenates. He has also held various leadership positions at SABIC affiliates – the first President, Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (Yansab), Chairman, Project Committee, Yansab; Board member, Arabian Petrochemical Company (Petrokemya); Vice Chairman, Saudi European Petrochemical Company (Ibn Zahr); and Board Member and Marketing Committee Member, Saudi Methanol Company (Ar-Razi). Mr. Al-Fageeh holds a Bachelor of Science Chemical Engineering degree from the King Saud University, Riyadh, and an MBA from Bradford University, UK.

Awad Al Maker

Mr. Awad Bin Mohammed Al Maker serves as Executive Vice President, Shared Services at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President, Technology and Innovation at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC since 2015. He joined SABIC’s manufacturing affiliate in Jubail, KEMYA, in August, 1989 where he held various posts at different times, last of which was General Manager, Manufacturing. Early 2003, he moved to IBN RUSHD in Yanbu as General Manager for a year, and was elevated to the post of President in 2004 with the specific goal of bringing in change for sustainable profitability. In November, 2009 he was appointed Manufacturing Vice President for Yanbu, leading the new organization and working with the area sites and the Sinopec SABIC Tianjin Petrochemical Company to establish the new Manufacturing concept. In November, 2012 he moved to business as Polypropylene Business Vice President. In August, 2013 the PET Business Unit was added. He currently also serves as Chairman of the Board for IBN RUSHD. Mr. Al Maker graduated as Chemical Engineer in 1989 from the King Saud University, Riyadh.

Ahmed Al-Shaikh

Mr. Ahmed Al-Shaikh serves as Executive Vice President, Manufacturing at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC. Before his present assignment, Mr. Al-Shaikh was the Vice President of Manufacturing Center of Excellence in March and April, 2015 and the President of the SABIC affiliate, Yanpet, from July 2011 to February 2015. Al-Shaikh has been with SABIC since year 1997 and has held various positions in the company. He also held the position of President, United, in 2009, a SABIC affiliate. Mr. Al-Shaikh, has more than 25 years’ experience in oil and petrochemical industries, began his career with Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery (SASREF). He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Anas Kentab

Mr. Anas Kentab serves as Executive Vice President, Crude Oil To Chemicals at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC. Mr. Kentab served as Executive Vice President of the Agri-Nutrients business unit. Prior to that, he was Vice President of the business units for Polyethylene, Polypropylene, and Olefins and Industrial Gases. He has also been General Manager for Intermediate Operations and Planning. In addition to his current role, Mr. Kentab is Chairman of the Board of Directors at Saudi Organometallic Chemical Company (SOCC) and Al-Bayroni, Vice Chairman of the SAFCO board, and a member of SSTPC boards. He has previously served on the boards of Yanpet, Kemya, Sharq,United and Sadaf. He began his career at SABIC as Project Manager for Sharq. He held several positions in the former Intermediates business unit, where he managed financial and business reporting, strategy and investment planning, and operations planning. He was also a business manager for the mono-ethylene glycol business. Mr. Kentab holds bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Saud University in Riyadh. He has undertaken several management and executive leadership programs in GE, Insead, IMD, and London Business School.

Ernesto Occhiello

Mr. Ernesto Occhiello serves as Executive Vice President, Specialties at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President - Technology and Innovation of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation JSC (SABIC) since joined the Company on August 15, 2011. Prior to joining SABIC, Mr. Occhiello was a member of the Innovation and Growth Team for Dow Chemical Company in Switzerland, where he contributed to the medium and long-term strategy of the company with other Executive leaders. In addition, he was responsible for R&D in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. His career with Dow began in 2001 and includes many director roles in R&D with leadership roles in technology development for specialty and performance products. His experience also includes manufacturing leadership and acquisition integration. Mr. Occhiello holds a Laurea in Chemistry with Honors from the University of Turin (Universita De Torino), where he was also contract professor of Chemistry of Materials. He has co-authored two books, more than 100 papers, communications to congresses and is responsible for more than 45 patents. He has more than 120 citations in SciFinder and an h-index of 19. He has history in propylene oxide manufacturing and formulations for wind energy.

Faisal Al-Suwailem

Mr. Faisal Ibrahim Al-Suwailem serves as Secretary General of the Board of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC. Mr. Faisal Ibrahim Al-Suwailem is the General Manager for Board Affairs and Corporate Governance at SABIC and Secretary General of the Audit Committee. Prior to his current position, he was the General Manager of the Enterprise Risk Management department. Mr. Al-Suwailem began his career in SABIC in 2002 where he worked in the Internal Audit Department. He played a significant role establishing and managing the Enterprise Risk Management department, where he conducted several advanced training programs. Fahad Almubarak

Dr. Fahad Abdullah Almubarak serves as Non-Executive Member of the Board at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC since Oct, 8, 2017. Dr. Almubarak is currently Advisor to the Saudi Royal Court and Secretary General of the Saudi Secretariat for the G20. He is also a board member of several companies. Roberto Gualdoni

Eng. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al Issa serves as Independent Member of the Board of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC since December 4, 2012. He is also President of the A. M. Al-Issa Consulting Engineers and member of the board of Mohammed Alissa and Sons. Mr. Mohammed Talal Mohammed Al-Nahas serves as Independent Member of the Board of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation SJSC since September 20, 2016. He is the Governor of the Public Pension Agency, with 32 years of experience in banking, business development, and administration. Al-Nahas also holds the positions of Chairman of AI-Raidah Investment Company (wholly-owned by the Public Pension Agency) and Chairman of the Auditing and Risk Committee at AI-Raidah Investment, and is a member of Board of Directors of Riyad Bank, Saudi Telecom Company (STC), and the International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) .
